John’s desire for a more egalitarian society were amply demonstrated through his support for Station 20 West where he was a longtime member of the Station 20 West Community Mobilization Committee. A $20,000 grant to support a peer mentoring program for mothers in Saskatoon's core neighbourhoods has been awarded by the Saskatoon Community Foundation to the Saskatoon Mothers' Centre.
