John Bury
began painting after retiring from medicine 20 years ago, choosing watercolour as a medium. Mostly self-taught, he has taken classes from Degen Linder and Catherine Perudoff. His hero is C.W. Jeffries, the first Canadian painter to paint prairie light. John has exhibited at The Bridges, Parkridge Centre and in the Gallery at the Francis Morrison Library. He has many paintings in private collections.
Lou Chrones
is primarily a landscape artist, working in acrylic, watercolour, pastel and collage. Her work is exhibited at Collector's Choice Art Gallery. In 2005, Lou received the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal. She has organized painting groups with seniors, is a member if the Broadway Painters and is founding member of the Artist's Workshop. Lou's work has been acquired by the University of British Columbia, St Paul's Hospital, Royal University Hospital, Government of Saskatchewan, University of Saskatchewan, YWCA and many private collections internationally.
Greg Hardy
is regarded as one of the top landscape painters of his generation. His work has been shown in both commercial galleries and public museums for over 30 years, and his paintings are included in many private, corporate and public collections such as those of the Canada Council Art Bank, Ottawa, Mendel Art Gallery, Saskatoon, Norman McKenzie Art Gallery, Regina, Edmonton Art Gallery, Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, SaskTel, and Shell Oil. Hardy’s signature response to the landscape is marked by a strong use of colour and a bold painterly touch that consistently makes for paintings charged with power and energy. Art Placement is presenting an exhibition of Greg Hardy's most recent work on December 6 - 24, 2008.
Clint Hunker
is a painter as well as a sessional instructor at the University of Saskatchewan. His recent work examines the area along Highway 41 North through Aberdeen, Smuts, and Alvena. He has exhibited at the Mendel Gallery and Art Placement in Saskatoon and Genkan Gallery in Tokyo and is represented in many permanent collections. He has donated:

James Korpan
is a community volunteer in Saskatoon and a former board member
of the Saskatchewan Arts Board. He is also a sculptor with an international
reputation. He participated as an invited guest artist at the International
Sculpture Symposium in Navidad Chile, in November of 2007. His work in both
bronze and welded steel is found in public and private collections around
the world. Korpan has been working in sculpture for over thirty years.
Corrine McKay
(deceased) was a past chair of the Saskatchewan Craft Council. She was
born in New Westminster and resided in Saskatoon until her passing in 2006.
Corinne received her B.F.A. Honors Degree from the U. of S. with
distinction. Corinne was a talented print maker and painter in many media.
She also attended the Vancouver School of Arts. She participated in many
group shows and had one man shows at the Mendel Art Gallery, the MacKenzie
Gallery, and the Saint Thomas Moore Gallery. Her work may be found in
various corporate and private collections.
Jan Norris
graduated with great distinction with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Saskatchewan in 2001. She has been painting and teaching art to children since then.

My abstract art deals with colour, texture and simplified line. I am influenced by the prairies and the countryside where I live. My newest series refers metaphorically to the birds I see everyday—they connect us to the land and to nature.

Les Potter
has had a long and varied career as a sculptor/teacher. After numerous public commissions, his work is a well recognized part of the urban landscape in Saskatchewan. He has donated:

Marie Elyse St.George
is a Saskatoon painter and writer who explores the interaction between visual art and literary forms, often using her work or that of well known writers who request her paintings for their book covers. She has had numerous solo and group shows in Canada, the USA, and the Mendel Art Gallery, Saskatoon, the Susan Whitney Gallery, Regina and is represented in Canadian, American, and United Kingdom private collections. She has published poetry, White Lions In The Afternoon", and broadcast on CBC. Her latest book, a memoir, with paintings, drawings, poetry—Once in a Blue Moon: An Artist's Life—won the Saskatchewan Book Award for nonfiction in 2006.
June Tinline
began art lessons in 1990 under the direction of Rolf Krohn, with the the Bridge City Artists, a group of 25 that continues to meet and enjoy a day of painting and comradeship. She enjoys the challenge of collage and has recently been working in abstract design—combining colours, textures and shapes to produce pleasing and interesting results.
